Caudal Epidural Steroid Injection

A Caudal Epidural Steroid injection (with or without Lysis of Adhesions) can be used to alleviate low back pain and radiating leg pain. It can be used to treat lumbar radiculopathy, low back pain, spinal stenosis, sciatica, post laminectomy pain syndrome, phantom limb pain, and pelvic pain syndromes. The injection includes administration of local anesthetic and steroid medication which help to alleviate swelling and inflammation. Many patients can have significant relief after one injection. However, the procedure can be repeated if needed.
